2013 Summary: Tube walks, Capital Ring, trees, etc

Lists of some of the things I did in 2013 - Tube Walks, Capital Ring sections, Open House Weekend, Trees, Flâneurs, SF0, Coursera, NaNoWriMo, NaArMaMo:


Attended the following tube walks:
94. Kensal Green to Queen's Park
95. Kensington (Olympia) to Earl's Court
96. Kentish Town to Tufnell Park
97. Kilburn to West Hampstead
98. Kilburn Park to Maida Vale
99. King George V to London City Airport
100. Kingsbury to Wembley Park
101. Knightsbridge to South Kensington
103. Lambeth North to Waterloo

Walked the following Capital Ring sections:
1: Woolwich Foot Tunnel - Falconwood
8: Osterley Lock - Greenford
9: Greenford - South Kenton
10: South Kenton - Hendon Park
12: Highgate - Stoke Newington
13: Stoke Newington - Hackney Wick
14: Hackney Wick - Beckton District Park
15: Beckton District Park - Woolwich Foot Tunnel
(I now only have one section of the Capital Ring left to do.)

Visited the following during Open House Weekend:
1. Crystal Palace Subway
2. Canada Water Library
3. Carpenters' Hall
4. Chartered Accountants' Hall
5. One Canada Square
6. Citigroup Centre
7. Brunel Museum
8. Battersea Power Station
9. Peter Jones
10. Holy Trinity Church
11. Argentine Ambassador's Residence
12. Romanian Cultural Institute
13. Adaptable House

Saw some of the Great Trees of London (according to Time Out) and some other interesting trees:
5. The Abbey Plane
47. The Bexley Charter Oak
52. The Bromley Oak
1000 year old yew tree in Stoke Gabriel, which I walked around backwards seven times and made a wish.
Handkerchief tree in bloom in Ruskin Park.

Completed the following Flâneurs challenges in June:
June challenge I. (c) Buses: Starting at Victoria
June Challenge II.(d) Lines: a beer glass walk, between London parks
June Challenge III. (b): Doing something different: Eating apple crumble pizza and visiting Sutton

Did the following SF0 tasks:
Fun with food
World of Snorecraft
Make it soft

Did a Coursera course:
Creative Programming for Digital Media & Mobile Apps

Participated in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) & naarmamo (National Art Making Month):
Wrote a novel of 50,000 words in the month of November
Created a piece of art for every day in the month of August

2012 for comparison.
