Broadband is being activated tomorrow at my flat.

In the meantime, I have been borrowing books from the tiny local library. Currently flicking through the Terre à Terre: The Vegetarian Cookbook. Aubergine jelly eels!

I have been to the Terre à Terre restaurant in Brighton and I can tell you that they are very successful at not just making vegetarian versions of meat dishes, but making them so good they run rings round the originals. It's almost like they're taunting the meat dishes; is that the best you can do, animal-food?

I have never been in, only peered at their menu and been scared by the words I didn't know what they meant. Now I am less scared of words though, but am not convinced I will be able to find all the ingredients that are needed to cook most things, but maybe once I know Oxford better.
