Weekend locks and Lego

Once upon a time, it was a Saturday in April and the girl who mostly just felt lost went to the Hackspace. There, she learnt to pick locks (for sport!) and she did some 3D printing.

Once upon a time, it was a Sunday in April and the girl who picks locks went to an art gallery and looked at photos of white rectangles in their natural habitats. It reminded her of the badges that they wear in the Invisibles.

She ate pierogis a little later and then went to look at sculptures made out of Lego. They were made by a man who used to be a lawyer and next to the sculptures were often pithy comments. The sculptures were often fantastical and contained metaphors and she liked them a lot.

She made a tree out of Lego, a strange looking tree, but made of brown and green, which were not common colours for Lego bricks when she was a child.

They sold mugs there that said, "Art is not optional!"

She went to look for elves after that, in a street on the Peabody Estate named "Elf Row". She wasn't sure whether the sign was indicating a row of elves, lined up, or arguing elves, or elves in boats.

She wandered towards the river then and sat in the park, and stared across at the skyscrapers at Canary Wharf.
